Which evolution can we expect for professions, skills and training?

How the corporate training patterns change in the Industries 4.0.

The concept of Industry 4.0 imposes new models of work organization and new work profiles.

A recent research by the Industry 4.0 Observatory of the School of Management of the "Politecnico di Milano" has shown that the acquisition and training of the staff of new skills is one of the fundamental steps for Italian SMEs that are approaching the fourth industrial revolution.

The research shows that 62% of the companies interviewed participated in the last period in training courses and seminars.
Most of these courses are followed in e-Learning mode and with the use of webinars on the Internet; some rare innovators are taking courses in virtual or augmented reality, particularly in the areas dealing with chemicals or other fields where health is at risk.

The research is called "Jobs & Skills 4.0: which evolution for professions, skills and training?" and is available at this page
