eLearning: involving all types of students

Those who dedicate themselves to the world of education know that students are not all the same. For this, it is not so simple to design an online course. In fact, thinking about all the needs of the students is complex if not impossible. Despite this, when creating a training course it is good to remember that not everyone learns and studies in the same way.

Learning changes according to the habits and abilities of each student. There are those who prefer to take notes, make patterns or those who choose to watch and relate to the same content several times. An additional challenge for eLearning, therefore, is to meet all these needs. The advantage? Thanks to the technological tools, compared to traditional teaching, it is possible to create contents that adapt to all study needs. According to the "senses" used in the study, three types of learning can be distinguished:

1. Visual learning

You may have repeatedly said (or someone told you) that you have a visual memory. What does it mean? So-called "visual learners" remember concepts more easily when they are able to visualize them in their mind. This means that these types of trainees are more sensitive to the design of the platform and content. Use and different fonts, video, images and gifs may be the best way to help this type of student learn and fix concepts quickly and easily. 2. Auditory learning

Another rather common type of student is the " auditory" student. In this case, learning and storing take place mainly through audio content. These students therefore learn by listening. 3. Kinesthetic learning

The students who are most inclined for "kinesthetic learning" are those who need practice, not just being mere receptors of video / audio content. In fact, learning and memorization take place more easily if the contents of the online course can then be put into practice. Like?
