What is Blended Learning?

eLearning and face-to-face instruction coexist and reinforce each other in 'blended learning'. Find out what's in this infographic.

There are different definitions for the "blended learning" that can be summarized in a training modality consisting of programs with both eLearning training and face-to-face instruction.

We have already talked about blended training in this article, where we presented the 6 main models that are used today to accomplish this type of training.

Of course, in addition to the different operating models, there is no exact formula of how much training for each specific type should be included in a blended course; the winning concept is the appropriate balancing of the two different methodologies in relation to different elements: the number and type of students, their availability and willingness to learn, the technological availability of internet connections, and so on.

You can better understand what blended training means in this infographic created by ReadingHorizons.com
